Screaming Woman Interrupts Sen. Lisa Murkowski During Speech [VIDEO]

It’s not uncommon for politicians to get shouted down by dissenters, but some of these highly publicized outbursts actually have some humor value. But when the hecklers go on and on — like the woman who yelled for about ten minutes during Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s speech this weekend — the story isn’t so amusing.

Murkowski, who doesn’t always side with her party, had a rough time introducing Sen. John Barrasso at last week’s Alaska Republican Party Convention, as a random woman rambled throughout the Alaska politician’s entire introduction even when others tried to shut her up. At one point in the speech, Murkowski stopped talking to listen to the lady’s nonsensical remarks, but it’s safe to say nothing good came out of this big scene. Though I couldn’t understand anything the heckler spouted, she could very well be a Ron Paul supporter, as Paul’s followers reportedly ambushed the event. Either way, I doubt Murkowski is going to want to do tons of speeches anytime soon — at least until the presidential election is over.

From the article you linked, even Murkowski doesn’t believe it was Ron Paul supporters encouraging/planning the heckling
“”Murkowski didn’t believe it was the Paul supporters who planned the protest.“My impression of the Ron Paul organization is that they have great energy,” she said. “I didn’t understand them to be an organization that acts in a manner like that.”Mostly, she was embarrassed for Barrasso.Evan Cutler, a Paul organizer, gave a heart-felt apology on the convention room floor the following day, saying he neither condoned nor supported what happened, adding that it was “completely inappropriate.”
