Mac Users Are Richer And More Stylish Than You [Infographic]

We all know the stereotype: Mac users are more stylish than their PC-toting counterparts. To determine, once and for all, whether this claim is valid or not, we decided to do some sleuthing.

Our expert skills led us to Bundle, which, in a relatively creepy manner, crunched numbers to determine whether Mac users were more stylish or not. They somehow got their hands on data from billions of anonymous, aggregated credit card transactions, and then used this info to look for trends in spending patterns.

After analyzing the data from over 700,000 PC and Mac buyers, they confirmed that the stereotype is true: Mac users are indeed fashionistas.

We hear that; however, we believe a more important/obvious conclusion for the data is that since Macs are significantly pricier than PCs, obviously Mac users would have more expendable income than those who own PCs. Indeed our suspicions were proved correct– 40-percent of the anonymous Mac users ~~stalked~~ examined in the study earned more than $100k while only 29-percent of PC users made six figures or more.
