Today In Bad Uses Of Money: $1M Diamond Headphones At The Super Bowl

We all know the Super Bowl is a time for much money making. Ads are sold, tickets are bought, and games are watched — all bringing in millions upon millions of dollars. Really, it’s not a time to be greedy.

Still, ABC reports that Madonna was apparently envious of one of her fellow performer’s $1 million diamond-encrusted headphones during halftime. The headphones, which featured 114 carats of Graff diamonds, were worn by an LMFAO performer who shared the stage with Madonna. They’re a “special” version of Beats by Dre headphones, which we already thought were excessively priced at up to $400 a pop for the version you can buy at Radio Shack.

After the show, Madonna reportedly wanted to take the headphones home for herself. A great use of $1 million!
