Our culture likes to poke fun at awful bosses, but there are countless ways to be a terrible employee: Show up to work late, complain, mouth off to your supervisor, pour menstrual blood into your manager’s drink…Wait, what?!
A maid in Singapore is guilty of the last no-no, which I never in my wildest dreams would have considered pulling on even my worst enemy. The woman, who pleaded guilty Tuesday to putting her own period blood in her boss’s coffee mug after a year of working for him, reportedly had no motivation behind committing this unspeakable act. I suppose you could ask the 24-year-old why she did it, but given the level of immaturity behind this move, I suspect she’d unleash her inner toddler and shout, “Because I felt like it!”
