Cool Guy Tries To Give Marilyn Monroe A Better Walk Of Fame Spot

The City of Angels doesn’t always live up to its nickname — especially in the Hollywood Walk of Fame area, which is often occupied by slow-moving tourists and hecklers.
That’s why Scott Michaels, founder of FindADeath.com, has started a Change.org petition to move late actress Marilyn Monroe’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to the front of the Chinese Theater, which was among the A-lister’s favorite places. Her current star, which is by a McDonald’s entrance, is inadequate for the iconic celebrity, Michaels argues:
“This particular location on the Walk of Fame is narrow, littered with spilled food and drink, and crowded with threatening and agressive panhandlers.
People come from all over the world to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it’s close to impossible to photograph Marilyn’s star.
Considering the millions of dollars Marilyn Monroe generates for Hollywood, don’t you think she deserves better than this?”
Anyone deserves more than to essentially serve as a McDonald’s welcome mat, but when it comes to the streets of L.A., I hate to say pretty much everything is grimy. Best of luck finding a sparkly spot by the theater, though!
