Especially since being able to work from home is why many of those employees took their positions in the first place, which suggests that they really needed it for childcare or other reasons. Mayer doesn&#039;t seem that great at realizing that what works well for her might not work so well for everyone else (no maternity leave, etc etc)</description>

		<description>I am very surprised by this decision. If the policy has been abused and there have been problems with productivity, why not simply manage this issue instead of taking this option away from everyone?  Or if Mayer wants to facilitate more collaboration, require that everyone be in the office a certain day of the week? Seems like a very hard line as many kinds of tasks are much better suited to not being in a workplace with constant interruptions, not to mention the lost hours and environmental impact of commuting.</description>
