Sighting: Martha Stewart Celebrates Her 70th At Roadside Clam Bar In The Hamptons

Happy (almost) Birthday, Martha Stewart! A source tells Mogulite that Stewart enjoyed a birthday lunch today with four friends at the Clam Bar in Amagansett, which, despite its Hamptons address, is a super casual seafood shack on the side of the highway with outdoor-only seating. Stewart blew out the candles on a slice of key lime pie and then drove off (she in the driver’s seat) in a black Chevy Suburban. On August 3, Stewart turns…wait for it…70. Girl looks good.

Our onlookers say the DIY goddess reveled in the joy of food cooked by someone else, and munched on a lobster roll and a piece of corn of the cob. Last summer, Stewart also celebrated her birthday in the Hamptons, with a bash at Montauk restaurant Navy Beach.

A few months ago, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia’s new CEO Lisa Gersh threw a lavish party in the Bahamas, which we deemed a bit overzealous. Stewart’s early birthday celebration was obviously a bit more tame.
