WATCH: Martha Stewart Pepper Sprays A Turkey

Martha Stewart. Thanksgiving. Occupy Wall Street.

This was too good not to share! Martha Stewart appeared on The Today Show this week to talk turkey-cooking. Shocker. As they prepped the turkey, host Matt Lauer asked Stewart if she wanted him to add some salt and pepper. “Here’s a trick I learned at UC Davis,” she said, popping on a police riot helmet and proceeding to pepper spray the turkey.

Stewart was of course referencing the bizarre pepper spraying of peaceful protesters last week at UC Davis. The incident has spurred an Internet meme of Photoshops of overly casual and inappropriate pepper spraying.

Kudos to Martha for both showing she’s in the know and managing to make her 10 millionth Thanksgiving cooking lesson seem “fresh.”
