6 Insanely Inappropriate And Rude Responses To Meghan McCain’s ‘Leno’ Appearance

Few commentators get people talking quite like Daily Beast columnist Meghan McCain, whose appearance on Jay Leno last night sparked a lot of chatter on Twitter and in the Mediaite comment section, a Hellscape I’d rather not explore right now.

Given the rabid reactions and faux outrage to her passing remark about Breitbart a few weeks ago, I expected to see pages and pages of hateful, irrelevant tweets about her appearance (IMO, she was gorgeous). To my relief, I didn’t come across too many trite tweets like “Meghan McCain is a 300 pound slut,” but there were more creepy and bizarre tweets than I had time to read, so here are six of the weirdest and most inappropriate ones I stumbled upon.

Twitterverse, you’ve outdone yourself again.

I have no use for tweets like those, but the sad truth is the only thing Meghan is good at is being a useful idiot for the left.  She excels at that.

What’s wrong with boobs? It’s pathetic to get insulted when someone praises your looks.

I like how being exposed to the opinions of right leaning comments is a “hellscape”.  It’s a big world out there.

Now any time Sean Hannity plays the Bill Maher card about calling Sarah Palin the “c” word we can use this to show that the rightists have filth in their heads as well.

You never fail do you. Everything has something to do with liberals and the left. I am just curious, what is your day job? Do you have time to do anything else besides express faux outrage?

Unless you want your ideas to be taken seriously with the time devoted to talking about the curves of your body.  She’s a woman.  Get used to it and move on.  I, at least, went to high school and grew up.  People marganilze women like this by referring to their looks in a way they wouldn’t even think of with men.  Just recently the secretary of state was told she looks “overweight” and unattractive.  Are you kidding?  Did everyone forget Newt Gingrich and the rest of our elected officials?  It’s a way of silencing women by linking their ideentities not iwth their ideas but with their appearance.  It should be shameful if people felt shame in objectifying humans.

Talking about Meghan McCain’s weight… bad, inappropriate comment.
Talking about Chris Christie’s weight… good, legitimate descussion.

    Huh?

I think the offense is more about being reduced to a body part by unevolved cro-mags.
Kind of like your post exemplifies.

I would think if I was a young journalist, Meghan McCain’s career would really upset me. Forget about politics. Born into unimaginable privilege, her adult life is as follows: Columbia, internships at SNL and The Daily Show, indeterminate work on her father’s presidential campaign, a columnist position at The Daily Beast, three books published, and now a plum gig as an MSNBC contributor. Does anyone seriously believe that any of that would have occurred were she named Meghan Smith? Is there any working writer today, let alone someone who works for the Daily Beast and gets to promote her books on Jay Leno, who is so manifestly inept at writing? I think much of the faux outrage that is directed at McCain is due to the fact that she’s been handed been everything in her life on a silver platter, and yet still exhibits the pathetic persecution complex characteristic of a spoiled brat.

I like the pictures of her on a bed, sticking her chest out and looking suggestive at the viewer, matched with the story trying to suggest that she is unfairly viewed in a sexual nature.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
