Meghan McCain Right That Sarah Jessica Parker Should Not Call Obama ‘Her Guy’

Upon seeing Meghan McCain’s appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show,” I’d give anything to be friends with her–mainly because she screamed “Romney 2012!” outside of actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s $40,000 per person Obama fundraiser, which rightfully drew the ire of a lot of New Yorkers.

McCain is also kind of a badass for calling SJP out her informal way of talking about the president in a new campaign ad, which features the “Sex and the City” star referring to Obama as “the guy who ended the war in Iraq, the guy who says you should be able to marry anyone you want, and the guy who created 4 million new jobs.”

“My problem with that ad is, I don’t like calling the president ‘my guy,’” McCain, who said she will not be voting for Obama this November, explained on the program. “He’s the president of the Oval Office. I don’t like reporters interrupting him in press conferences. This is the President of the United States of America. Don’t refer to him as ‘that guy.’…I think it’s kind of trashy.”

Amen, sister. I don’t care how tight you are with the president: he’s not your ‘bro’. She’s also right that it’s insane to vote for a candidate based on his/her popularity among Hollywood types:

“I’m not big on celebrities with politicians in general, I don’t think that’s what it’s about…I think it’s about nominating and supporting the person you think is going to lead the country…I don’t know who [thinks], ‘Sarah Jessica Parker’s endorsing Obama, well I’m going to do what Sarah Jessica Parker does.’ I don’t know who thinks like that.”

In a nutshell, she nailed the TV interview, and hopefully it’ll serve as a reminder to staunch conservatives that McCain is, in fact, a Republican.

Hey wait, didn’t her dad refer to Obama as “that one”?

McCain is, in fact, a Republican.”

Who knew?   Maybe she could spend more time talking about conservative values than piling on with liberal talking points when appearing on MSNBC.

This is really a shameless article which is full of “brown-nosing”.

So, instead of listening to celebrities, we should listen to politicians’ children?

Why? Just because I disagree with SJP’s showy fundraiser? At least McCain has the courage to come out and say it’s not right.

    It’s not right?!?

    Seriously?

Oh ok then, let’s just leave it to the Koch brothers and other right-wing billionaires to buy this election and be done with it,yea?

Cause fundraisers are “wrong”(except when it’s Trump,of course, right?) but buying an election anonymously is “right”….you know, you make a lot of sense, seriously. My head is about to explode.

Did she come out and say that it was not right for her father, the 2008 GOP Nominee to refer (during a debate) to Obama as “that one.”  Of course not.  This was a stupid article to post that was not thought out and just shows your partisanship.

I do admire Meghan McCain in this clip but unfortunately, her social views are the exact opposite of Mitt Romney’s…and so why would she not vote for Obama? She’s willing to sacrifice her reproductive rights as a woman and her friends’ rights as LGBT members of society for the sake of…what? Conservative values that she fails to mention in this interview at all?

It sounds like she’s a closet liberal who’s been listening to Daddy for too long, I’d LOVE to hear why exactly she believes the Republican party and Mitt “I-will-sell-my-soul-to-be-elected” Romney should lead the country. Because she spends this entire interview stating why Romney definitely should NOT be President.
