A woman then purchases one of these shoes from said Malaysian shoe store, and the guy pays for the pair — anywhere from 10 percent to the full price — after the first date.

Yes, this is a weird marketing campaign, and ladies interested in this deal should probably be wary of going on dates with men who have some offbeat foot fetishes.
