Michelle Obama And Bo Visit Wounded Soldiers, Warm Our Hearts
3:05 pm, April 5th | by Laura Donovan
Whether you’re a dog person or not, I’m sure you’d appreciate a visit from Bo Obama, the first dog, if you were wounded or upset.
That’s the treatment injured service members and their families at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center got as part of first lady Michelle Obama’s efforts to support Month of the Military Child. Ms. Obama brought along her Portuguese Water Dog, who has been making headlines for his activism lately, to the Bethesda, Maryland location on Wednesday to stand by and look cute as she helped give away Easter candies, distributed tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll, and spoke with military kids. We all need a wingman, and given the health benefits of having a dog around, who better than an adorable canine to fulfill that role?
This is also the second time he has sported Easter bunny ears in six weeks, so you know he is one patient, cooperative pup.
