Michelle Obama’s Vague Response To Hilary Rosen/Ann Romney Debacle

So the Internet exploded late last night and this morning in response to political consultant Hilary Rosen’s claim that Ann Romney “has actually never worked a day in her life,” and it appears that first lady Michelle Obama weighed in on it via Twitter early this afternoon:

“Every mother works hard, and every woman deserves to be respected. –mo”

Given today’s turn of events, it’s pretty obvious she’s referring to the latest Twitter war between the right and the left, but she didn’t really add much to the conversation. We do, however, appreciate her use of “mo.” There’s a nickname we’d like to see more of in the headlines.

Talk about lukewarm sentiment.  I can’t WAIT for Ann to kick Michelle out of the White House and restores some class to the joint.

Michelle Obama needs to tell Sarah Palin that. She was disrespected and attacked for working and raising a family. Now Ann Romny is impugned for staying home with her kids. And the Liberal Democrats continue their “war on conservative women”.

    Anyone surprised?

Well, seeing as whoever’s running @barackobama has all stuff from him tagged as -bo, it would seem to fit.

Obama’s spokesman was just ask for a response and he did NOT condemn the remarks.  He changed the subject.  Of course we know he approves of the statement because just a few days ago, he called being a stay at home mother a luxury.

The liberal war on mother’s continues!

Some class? I think you need some class in the way you think.

Still talking about Sarah Palin? What’s this conservative psychosis with this paranoid woman?

Much as you try to cast Obama as anti women, it won’t change the fact that Republicans have attacked and continue to attack women (like in Wisconsin last week where Scott Walker thinks its right for women to get less pay for equal work)……then there’s Rush Limbaugh, Virginia’s governor, Pennsylvania’s governor, the law in Oklahoma……priceless way of ensuring women feel safe with Republicans at the helm.

So basically, she made a great point that you can’t refute?

My mom raised three kids and worked a full time job to provide for her kids.  My Mom didn’t have 1% of the luxuriance that Mrs. Romney has, yet we were cared for by our Mom who worked long hours cleaning as a housekeeper to people  like the Romney’s and still had time to volunteer as a Community Activist for her community. I know what  Hillary was saying and she was quiet correct in saying it.  Today’s mothers are not only Moms, in addition they’er ” Bread Winners”.  Many who struggle with little to no support to provide for their kids and place food on the table and a roof over their head.  They earn their money, through working as cooks, teachers, bankers, policeman, firefighters, CPA’s, doctors, lawyers’, servicewomen, sales reps, analysis, politicians, clergy, pilots, drivers, housekeepers and many other occupations all  while still being a Mom.

Sarah was ridiculed not for raising her kids, but for being a dumb ass.
