Mogul Toy of the Day: The World’s Most Expensive Bathtub

So you’re on your way into a holiday weekend. You’re probably thinking of relaxation. Maybe a bubble bath. Maybe a bubble bath in the world’s most expensive bathtub with a diamond-encrusted ducky that tragically sinks with every voyage (diamond-encrusted items do have limited facility in aquatic pursuits).

You need this. And now it exists. The world’s most expensive tub, coming to a loo near you.

This is according to Homeedit, which says the tub is carved from “extremely rare stone that can only be found in the volcanic rocks from Indosnesia.” This, apparently, is something that people want — because it’s already been sold to someone in Dubai for upwards of $1.6 million.

Now, we were under the impression (back in September) that Tamara “I Iron My Own Money” Ecclestone had the priciest tub ever — and her crystal version couldn’t have been much further behind.

Tub wars, anyone?
