Penguin Bites Newt Gingrich At The Zoo

Penguins are fairly well-behaved creatures, so it must take a pretty intimidating or frightening person to send one of the birds into fight mode.
This unfortunately happened to presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich on Friday when he stopped at the St. Louis Zoo to check out the wildlife. While exploring the tourist hot spot, Gingrich was bitten on the hand by a little penguin. Maybe the penguin was just spent from a long week and didn’t feel like putting on a show for Gingrich, but the incident much have been a disenchanting experience for an animal lover who has visited around 95 zoos in his life and first advocated for the construction of a zoo at age 11. But it’s a lesson we all learn at some point: You may love something, but that doesn’t mean it loves you back.
Now that the penguin vote is ruled out for Gingrich, the real question is this: Is it worse to have dogs against you or penguins?
