Luxury Prisons Fit For a Mogul? [PHOTOS]

Here at Mogulite, we often write about fancy houses and the people who worked hard (or are heirs, or something) and get to live in the lap of luxury. But what if you got to live somewhere real slick because you committed a crime? Yep, we’re talking fancy prisons. Curbed took a look at the world’s snazziest jail cells, and let’s just say, it’s really too bad for Raj Rajaratnam and friends that he didn’t commit his crime in Northern or Central Europe.
While American criminals and convicts are relegated to soul-crushing concrete monstrosities, prisoners in Europe get to stay in what could easily be a luxury hotel. Rajaratnam and Madoff may want to see if they can get transferred to Austria or Norway.
