Obama In Warren Ad: ‘She’s A Janitor’s Daughter And Middle Class Advocate’

Most great figures have small beginnings. Case in point: Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, who is currently in a tight race with rival Scott Brown.
In a new ad for Warren, who came under fire this week for claiming Native American ancestry in the 80s and 90s, President Obama says the Harvard Law School professor came from modest roots and is a spokesperson for the average American as such:
“She’s a janitor’s daughter who has become one of the country’s fiercest advocates for the middle class. She came up with an idea for a new, independent agency that would have one simple, overriding mission: standing up for consumers and middle-class families.”
Warren is wealthy now and has been reprimanded for not opting to pay more in taxes, but there’s something inspiring about the fact that she wasn’t always rolling in money.
