Hey Obama, I Don’t Care About Your Lovefest With Jay-Z And Beyoncé

I’ve known for a while that Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Jay-Z, and Beyonce are BFFs just a step away from making friendship bracelets and hosting pajama slumber parties, so it was completely unnecessary for our nation’s leader to appear on the radio to share more about his love for the musical power couple.

Speaking to Colby Colb of Cleveland Z107.9, Obama gushed about the friendship,  which kind of makes me want to dry heave onto the streets of New York:

“I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They’re good people. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends. I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with baby Blue Ivy], and not leaving it all with Beyonce and the mother-in-law.”

Believe me, Obama, we already know all about your friendship with these two as well as your take on the ever-so-important Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey spat, and quite frankly we feel a little ridiculous being overly informed on your pop culture views and social relationships. Stick with what you know, which is politics, and remember that we’ve got an election next month that is deserving of more attention than your showy celeb lovefests.The next time you’re asked just how much you adore besties Beyonce and Jay-Z on a scale of one to 10, respond with “no comment” so as not to waste everyone’s time.

    You know Laura, You act like you have no idea what Citizen United is, but I know you do know that, You also know the fact that in over 1 billion dollars in campaign spending this election year,
    and both sides need money, Obama´s supporters are Hollywood, they make movies or Music,they donate to the Obama campaign, and advocate for different causes, and they ramble on about it, at least one candidate is talking about his donors.

    Thats one side of the story, then there is the other side that´s Mitt Romney´s side of the story,he does everything Obama is doing, campaign fundraising but his backers are not Jay Z or Beyonce, no they are richer then them and they usually like to keep low profile,and there´s good reason for that, cause when they don´t you have the 47% comment, they want access to the govt. so they can lift a lot of regulations that would hurt the environment including people, which some people apparently dont understand.

    but go on and ramble on about Obama´s love fest with celebrities if that will make you any happier,
    the fact that so much money is involved which is disturbing seem to not be bothering you the least.
