New Axe Commercial Literally Reduces A Woman To Her Boobs [VIDEO]

Offensive as Axe T.V. commercials are, ever wonder about the people who make them? Like, when they look at a woman, are her breasts all they see?

Well, wonder no more. A new T.V. spot from Axe has cleared all that up. And the answer is “yes.”

The Axe ad reimagines the classic office romance — but instead of two human people falling in love/lust, it’s a disembodied head of hair and a pair of breasts. The little hair blob, the ad ultimately explains, represents a guy (the ad is for Axe hair products). The tagline: “Hair. It’s what girls see first.”

Watch it in full:

I’ll admit the little walking head of hair is kind of endearingly cute. But I’m pretty sure any guy who’s focusing on his co-worker’s chest to that extent is getting a call from HR — not a phone number.

But isn’t the commercial objectifying men as hair just as much as it’s objectifying women as breasts?

Hair matters the same to both genders. It really, really is not the equivalent of objectifying women for their breasts and it is still not okay to allow men to think they can do it, even if they put a little hair gel on.

Took the words right out of my mouth :)

Yeah, a short,  addlepated  brunette ”Thing”  pining for a disembodied pair of breasts is definitely the creepy image befitting AXE users. The image  definitely fits the repulsive  stench.
