Your Cooter Smells Like A Rotting Blob Carcass, Hilariously Offensive Pad Ad Claims [VIDEO]

I know that “rotting blob carcass” doesn’t trigger a precise mental image for most people. But there’s really no other way to describe the mascot found here in this hilariously offensive ad for women’s sanitary napkins.
This Malaysian commercial for Libresse’s line of green-tea scented pads follows a pretty standard strategy in the women’s “intimate goods” industry: Convince women their ladybits smell like vile, steaming vats of wet garbage. Let shame ensue. Tell them they are hideous and unlovable — unless they buy your product. Libresse, you are our only path to salvation.
Okay, so we’ve established Libresse isn’t exactly breaking ground with its ad’s angle. But here’s where the weird part comes in — it’s this little guy, who’s intended to be the physical embodiment of women’s vaginal odor in the commercial:
Well that’s… different.
By the way, huge props to Libresse for making him vaguely resemble a fish. Really subtle guys. Groundbreaking stuff.
