Cutest Thing You’ll See All Day: Man Proposes To Anchor Girlfriend On-Air

I’ve never been one for public proposals, but this one could melt even the iciest of souls.
KDLT-TV anchor Jennifer Hudspeth started her recent broadcast, “a good old-fashioned love story,” believing it would be about someone else. As her co-anchor describes the couple — a football player and cheerleader who met in high school and reunited seven years after graduation — Hudspeth’s facial expression changes in apparent recognition, and she gasps when her boyfriend pops up in the studio to ask for her hand in marriage.
After an emotional Hudspeth accepts the offer and hugs her fiance, she tells the network team, “I can’t believe you guys!” This is the cutest thing you’ll see all day.
