Randi Zuckerberg, Movie Star?
11:38 am, January 8th | by Hillary Reinsberg
The Facebook marketing guru turned entrepreneur is appearing in a feature-length film. But not just any old film.
The movie, Olive, bills itself as “the very first full length feature film shot 100% on a cell phone.” A Nokia N8 smartphone, to be exact.
So what’s Zuckerberg doing in the movie? As she tells The New York Post, ”I agreed because I like innovative ideas, and this is the first feature-length movie shot on a cellphone camera.”
She does like innovative ideas — particularly, it seems, when they relate to smartphones. Her business card, after all, is a QR code. That being said, she’s hardly playing a tech innovator in the movie. (She’s playing a shoe salesperson).
Last week, Zuckerberg talked about being selective in terms of picking and choosing what to focus on when balancing career and life. But she seems to have found time for a movie role. Hmmm.
