This afternoon, as the disturbingly vast majority of us learned almost instantaneously, Rick Santorum chose to suspend is bid for the GOP nomination. Mitt Romney’s response to the decision was kind. Other peoples’ responses weren’t so much. And not that we’re big on kicking people when they’re down or anything… but let’s just say that Santorum’s concession speech unleashed Twitter’s magnificent collective creative juices in a big way today.
