6 Terrible And Insane Things Rielle Hunter Said In Her ’20/20′ Interview And Book

We all know Rielle Hunter is off her rocker, but the comments she made during her highly anticipated “20/20″ interview and in her soon to be released memoir showed us just how bonkers she really is. We’ve taken her to task before and couldn’t help doing it again, as she sounded like a naive, insufferable teeny bopper when she told ABC that preparing to hook up with John Edwards for the first time was “like a rock concert.” Here are some ridiculous remarks she made in the sit-down and claims in her book.
1.Being with John Edwards is like a 'rock concert'
When John Edwards sat down on a hotel bed with her, Hunter couldn't believe what was going on. She told ABC of the experience, "Something happened internally with me. I responded... I have not experienced it or felt what was happening before. Ever. An intensity like a rock concert. A lot of energy."
2.Elizabeth Edwards is a 'witch on wheels'
In her book, Hunter says Elizabeth Edwards, John's cancer-stricken wife who died in 2010, was a
"witch on wheels." I'm sure Elizabeth and John's kids will appreciate hearing such words spoken of their late mother who was humiliated nationwide by their thoughtless dad.
3.'I'm not a home wrecker.'
In the ABC interview, she said, "I am not a home wrecker. We are real human beings." More than a little reminiscent of the "I am not a crook" line.
4.She went to his hotel room 'to help him'
Hunter said she joined him at his hotel room for their first tryst because "[she] believed [she] could help him." Of course, we all know what she really meant was "I believed I could help his penis."
5.'We talked on the phone for four hours every night'
"We could not get enough of each other on the telephone," Hunter told ABC. "If we were not together, we would be talking on the phone about four hours every night. We couldn't hang up." I used to talk on the phone for four hours with my best friend...in fourth grade. Grow up.
6.'Their marriage was ruined before I got there'
She told ABC of Elizabeth and John's union: "Their marriage was ruined before I got there. Years before I got there." Well you certainly didn't make things any better for them. To be fair, the little girl who resulted from John and Hunter's relationship is adorable, and I hope she doesn't have to pay for the irresponsible public behavior of her mom and dad.
