Limbaugh On “Puppet” Danica Patrick: “What Do You Expect From A Woman Driver?”

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh dismissed the contraceptive views of NASCAR driver Danica Patrick during a Monday airing of “The Rush Limbaugh Show” in which he said he was not surprised to hear that she wasn’t disturbed by the Obama administration’s recent mandate on health care plans covering contraception.

Citing a recent video interview Patrick had with The Daily Caller’s Michelle Fields, Limbaugh quoted Patrick as saying, “I leave it up to the government to make good decisions for Americans” before giving listeners his own commentary on her standpoint:

“Now this was about the recent mandate of the Catholic Church providing [contraception]…She was talking about Obama’s contraception rule…What do you expect from a woman driver?”

Limbaugh went on to say that Patrick’s answer “sums up the Democrat mindset perfectly.” He continued, “Democrats want to convince us that personal responsibility is something the government ought to do for us. She’s the perfect puppet. She is the ideal perfect puppet with that answer.”

The past few days have undoubtedly been trying on Patrick, whom San Diego Fox anchor Ross Shimabuku attacked and called the “B” word over the weekend for saying she dislikes being referred to as “sexy.” Here’s to hoping the critics lay off her for at least the next few days, but it’s only Monday, so who knows what the rest of the week has in store for her?
