Welcome to Scene and Heard, Mogulite’s regular column tracking the moguls who play as hard as they work. From charities to parties and from St. Barths to Davos, we leave no stone unturned. Eat your heart out, Robin Leach.
– Swan Lake came to life at the New York City Ballet Spring Gala Dinner in Manhattan. GOP-leaning mogul David Koch, Chanel chairman Arie Kopelman, actress and Halston President Sarah Jessica Parker and Fendi heir Fe Fendi shimmied and dipped like seasoned pros on the dance floor. [PMc]
– Mogul favorite Chopard welcomed Woody Allen with welcome arms when he left Manhattan behind in favor of Cannes, where he premiered his new film Midnight in Paris. Robert Di Nero, Melanie Griffith and Jude Law were among those in attendance and decked out in jewelry sponsor’s bling. [WWD]
– Lots of ladies were on hand for fashion titan Calvin Klein’s party to honor female film moguls. Power producer Jessica Brentnall, award winning director Jane Campion and Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa partied at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes to celebrate the awards. [Purple Diary]
