Scott Brown On Santorum’s Security: “The First Time He’s Actually Ever Used Protection”
2:20 pm, March 18th | by Laura Donovan
Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown was quite the comedian at Boston’s annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast, where the conservative politician said of presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s Secret Service addition, “I think it’s the first time he’s actually ever used protection.”
This knee-slapping remark drew laughter and applause from the crowd, prompting funnyman Brown to follow up with “Just sayin’” and a crack at hopeless contender Ron Paul:
“Newt Gingrich wants to build a colony on the moon, forget the moon, I think he should build it on whatever planet Ron Paul is from.”
Let’s pick on the primary race’s little guys, why don’t we? Brown, who made the rounds on everyone except fellow Massachusetts politician/presidential candidate Mitt Romney, was obviously referencing Santorum’s extreme pro-life views and seven living children.
Though we prefer inter-party roasts over the never-ending, tired Republican-Democrat war, the protection joke was below the belt, even for bully Brown.
