Seattle Woman On A Mission To Consume Nothing But Starbucks All Year

Starbucks has many intense fans, but even the chain’s most dedicated customers would be lukewarm to the idea of going nowhere else for food and drink all year. One woman, fittingly named Beautiful Existence, is taking on that challenge, as the Seattle native’s goal for 2013 is to consume only Starbucks for the next twelve months.
“I’ve been going in and getting their nutrition by the cup charts for all their serving sizes,” the young lady explained to MyNorthwest. “I’m already getting a feel for what to eat – the plain nut pack as a snack because it only has 190 calories, compared to the piece of pumpkin bread.”
While Starbucks carries a myriad of foods (i.e., spinach and cheese sandwiches, yogurt, fruit and cheese plates, scones, fruit cups), it still doesn’t have the one thing Existence really loves:
“I’m still trying to figure out how I can do sushi. I have two friends who are chefs and I want to see if I can get them to help me tear down some of the products at Evolution fresh and do something else.”
Good luck with that…as tempting as it is to only go to Starbucks for nourishment, one has to wonder what would prompt Existence to make such a choice. She isn’t getting paid by the company, but she is trying to make a statement about how communities benefit from good old S-Bux:
“The company pays good benefits for part-time workers. That’s where my money is going.”
