You follow all that? Yes, it’s a little convoluted, but this new video, “Sh*t Men Say To Men Who Say Sh*t To Women On The Streets,” is well worth a watch. Boiled down, it’s a compilation of the horror, disgust and shame your rational-thinking man would express when one of his buddies decides to hoot and/or holler at a woman on the street. Because shouting things at a woman you find attractive is kind of like playing tag Gallagher’s mallet.
And while the “Sh*t People Say” meme is beyond played out, this video is rather timely. As Feministing points out, today wraps up “International Anti-Street Harassment Week,” a worthy cause and reasonable precursor to this video.
