Soulja Boy Is Thrilled He Didn’t Invest In MF Global

Those who held shares in Jon Corzine’s firm, which filed for bankruptcy today, are probably not pleased with their investments. Rapper Soulja Boy is glad not to be among them.
Soulja Boy, the 21-year-old rapper known for his hit, “Crank That,” expressed his delight while taking a glance at his stock portfolio today. “I was checking my stocks today and thank GOD I didn’t invest in MF Global …. smh,” he tweeted. For those not hip to the lingo, “smh” stands for “shaking my head.”
You see, any financial loss would be bad news for Soulja Boy, who announced earlier this year that he was buying a $55 million G5 jet. While the performer is certainly successful, it seemed hard to believe that a 21-year-old who made $6 million last year could afford to buy a $55 million private plane. But he clearly has big ambitions. And an MF Global investment wouldn’t have helped in that regard.
