There was nothing ordinary about Apple founder Steve Jobs’ life — and it shows in how his fans around the world are mourning him.

Twitter reactions reach an all-time high following his death at 10,000 tweets per second, according to The Age. This beats out the previous held record of 8,868 per second after Beyonce announced her pregnancy. Celebrities prove particularly effusive.
