Susanna Quinn: Kirsten Gillibrand Should Do Nude Photoshoot

Magazine cover stories featuring pregnant women are few and far between, but leave a lasting impression. Susanna Quinn, who is the wife of lobbyist Jack Quinn, could be on her way to joining that league, as her new Facebook profile picture reveals her touching her pregnant stomach in the nude.

Though this snapshot hasn’t graced the glossy pages of Vanity Fair or ELLE, it still sends a powerful message about the beauty of a woman who is expecting a child, and Susanna encourages others to join the club. Speaking to POLITICO, the major celebrity said “it’s sort of a Hollywood thing to do” but added that she doesn’t foresee this becoming a trend among D.C. ladies:

“No, I don’t think Kirsten Gillibrand would do this. But she is gorgeous, she certainly should. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing so any woman should be proud of her body.”

That’s kind of like saying pretty women must play up their sexuality and do raunchy photo shoots merely because they have to looks to do so. Nevermind that they may not be comfortable with such exposure. We all know that pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but the procreation between two people does not need to be shared with the world through these kind of photos.
