Upon watching the trailer for “Dancing with the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin’s new Lifetime docu-series, I began to see why the BIO network pulled the plug on their reality show for the 21-year-old.

There are few things more awful than being viewed as a person who loves to play the victim. “Dancing with the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin, who recently criticized President Barack Obama’s evolution on same-sex couples, is being labeled a “poor me” kind of girl for saying that she received death threats in the aftermath of scoffing at the president’s move. And, as ridiculous as her anti-same-sex marriage post was, talking about people who have threatened to kill you doesn’t mean you’re “playing the victim.” The 21-year-old writes in a new blog post that she does not think of herself this way and would rather not be painted in the media as someone who wallows in self-pity.

You know you’ve really screwed up when “Jersey Shore” cast member JWoww is criticizing your lifestyle…Right?

Some people think President Obama’s announcement in support of same-sex marriage was historic. Some felt it was too little, too late. Others, well… they weren’t particularly thrilled about the sentiment. And I suppose we can include Bristol Palin in that third camp.

Seriously, it’s getting creepy.

Despite the rocks on her finger, big time pop singer Jennifer Lopez is still “Jenny from the Block.” Similarly, “Dancing with the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin is still the huntin’ and fishin’ girl from Wasilla. More importantly, she is a child of God, says the “Not Afraid of Life” author.

Nobody wants to be a rebound.

But that’s the inevitable fate of Mitt Romney’s vice presidential pick, says “Dancing with the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin, who writes in a new blog post that her mother Sarah “is a tough act to follow.”

If there’s anything I can say with full confidence, it’s that high school students can be incredibly clueless, unintelligent, and self-centered, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Willow Palin’s long-time male friend invited her to the prom in a very cute and creative manner. Of course, he also just published dozens of private photos of the former governor of Alaska’s daughter on the Internet so… maybe this one is a wash.

Phew.

If you thought less of “Dancing with the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin when rumors surfaced that she plans to live with her boyfriend as part of the couple’s “trial marriage,” rest assured knowing she wouldn’t move in with a man unless he were to “put a ring on it.”

I wrote earlier of my relief that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s Tuesday “Today” show guest appearance was drama-free, civil, and entertaining as opposed to a hostile, “Gladiator” esque spectacle many seemed to want. The former vice presidential candidate’s daughter, Bristol enjoyed the segment as well but couldn’t resist taking a shot at the media anyway.
