There’s so much to love about “American Idol” winner and small town Oklahoma girl Carrie Underwood, who hadn’t even set foot on a plane until auditioning for the reality show in her early twenties. The chart-topping singer, who seems just as sweet now as she was during her 2004 “Idol” try-out, has voiced her support for gay marriage, which could be a great image boost for the typically conservative country music industry.
