Today Julie Bowen tweeted out an article from After Elton, which nominated her as a gay icon, saying she’s “#flattered.” This isn’t an Emmy nomination, though she’s won an Emmy already, this is a nomination for the next gay icon. How cool is that? What’s better is she seems genuinely thrilled.

Well I’ve seen all the evidence I need. I can now confidently say the world is ending folks. The real proof of the end of days closing in isn’t the global warming phenomenon or the Mayan calendar and it isn’t even Snoop Dogg’s inexplicable name change [see below]. It is the tears of Chelsea Handler, this girl’s got some real thick skin. And now that she’s a mess I think it’s safe to say we’re dealing with a pretty scary situation.
