But I wasn’t sure what to make of the rumor that she is in talks to portray the lead in a potential film adaptation of Jeannette Walls’s phenomenal memoir, “The Glass Castle,” which recounts the journalist’s unusual upbringing with parents who chose a nomadic, homeless existence to constantly experience adventure and thrill.

So a lot of people are upset or puzzled that Stephen King’s “Carrie” is getting another upgrade, and as a fan of the novel who idolizes the prolific Maine writer, I’m a little concerned about story erosion as well, but “Kick Ass” actress Chloe Moretz is sure to bring a darker side to the role of the isolated, harassed teen who punishes her bullies and cruel classmates in the most unimaginable way.
