Ah, to work for the Huffington Post. The mega news site has everything from nap rooms to “Mint Romney” lotion — at least at the publication’s RNC Oasis.

“Here at HuffPost Women, we’ve observed that women eat.” So have we, otherwise we’d all be dead.

Guys, have you ever wondered about doing something like, really crazy?

For me, it would be cave diving, but for Huffington Post writer Tamara Shayne Kagel, it’s dating a Republican! Much to her chagrin, she has already knocked that off the bucket list she never intended to write, as we learn in her Monday column, “I’ve Never Dated Anyone Without Dating Their Politics, Too.” Earlier today, I noted that headlines are often exaggerations of the story, but in this case, the title isn’t detailed enough, as the piece is mainly about the author’s disbelief that she is actually in a relationship with a right-leaning man and that conservatives can be (*gasp*) intelligent sometimes.

There’s no doubt about it: our addiction to mobile technology is slowing killing our ability to look each other in the eye and have a conversation. But unlike other issues in our society, it’s one of the few issues that’s completely ungendered. Men and women are both equally culpable. So, for everyone’s sake, please don’t go blaming the ladies.

The transition from one year to another always means lots of end of year lists. The Huffington Post did their part with a list of the top 50 moments for women in 2011. While most of them are great moments we want to remember, one of them is the birth of Tina Fey’s daughter. Come on, really?
