Most four-year-olds concern themselves with only one thing: play time.
Lauren Bush, who went on to create FEED Projects to help provide nourishment and food for hungry children, chose to become a vegetarian at age four. This decision turned out to be the first of many that would benefit others, as the 27-year-old has provided more than 68 million meals for the less fortunate and sold over 500,000 FEED bags since starting the organization in 2006.
Bush Niece Thinks Ignorance Leads to Success

As the relative of two Republican presidents — she’s the niece of George W. Bush and the granddaughter of George H.W. Bush — it’s no surprise Lauren Bush has a somewhat laissez faire attitude to business models. We kid.
In an interview with The Grindstone, Lauren Bush spews some questionably bold advice about paving the entrepreneurial path to success:
“Part of the way I operate, for better or worse, is much more gut based than by the books. I have seen that this a quality found in most entrepreneurs I have met. It really takes courage, love, and maybe some ignorance, to step out and do things differently.”
