Paul Ryan’s similarities to “The Notebook” actor Ryan Gosling. But days after the politician himself responded in a tickled manner to the site, the three ladies behind the venture decided to close up shop…and shatter the worlds of Ryan fangirls everyone.

Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, also known as Ryan Gosling in-training, was taken aback by the new Tumblr page that likens him to the heavily fawned over star of “The Notebook.” Last week, we reported on the “Hey Girl, It’s Paul Ryan” meme before it had made the rounds on the blogosphere, and Ryan has since heard of the site but doesn’t exactly want it to go viral.

If you thought the “Text From Hillary” Tumblr (RIP, *sad face*) was life-altering and should have remained on the Internet longer than it did, “Hey Girl, It’s Paul Ryan” will fill the Grand Canyon of a void in your soul that was made by the departure of the LOL-worthy Secretary of State meme page.
