Eat Your Heart Out, Pippa Middleton — These Ladies Just Won National Book Awards

All right, maybe we’re being a little unkind to poor Pippa Middleton. Her book, Celebrate has been having a very hard time after being trashed by critics and facing lackluster sales. In response, Amazon has cut the sale price of Middleton’s book in half. This is probably quite sad for her, and not entirely unexpected to us, but we thought it would also be a good time to take a look at some books written by women that didn’t get half of the publicity that Celebrate did. Check out the female nominees (and two winners) of this year’s National Book Awards.

As many people may have suspected, Pippa Middleton’s book on party planning, Celebrate, is underperforming. That’s sad news for her, but lucky for us we have a few other things to take our mind off of poor sales.
