All right, maybe we’re being a little unkind to poor Pippa Middleton. Her book, Celebrate has been having a very hard time after being trashed by critics and facing lackluster sales. In response, Amazon has cut the sale price of Middleton’s book in half. This is probably quite sad for her, and not entirely unexpected to us, but we thought it would also be a good time to take a look at some books written by women that didn’t get half of the publicity that Celebrate did. Check out the female nominees (and two winners) of this year’s National Book Awards.

In February, he dubbed singer Adele “fat” and is now suggesting Pippa Middleton only show her “back,” as her face does not meet his standards and she only has her behind going for her.
