Every Day Is A Good Day To Protest Rush Limbaugh, Says NOW

Let’s take a trip down memory lane: Do you remember that time conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh declared Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” for lobbying for more affordable contraception? You know, before that whole Hilary Rosen/Ann Romney thing exploded all over our laptop screens and television sets? It’s rather hard to keep track of all the media fights these days, but I’ll remind you that the Fluke/Limbaugh debacle seemed to last for weeks, but now that it’s more of a “haha, remember that?” past time than an up-to-the-minute scandal, the National Organization for Women (NOW) has decided to reignite the fire on Limbaugh and protest him some more.

By now you’ve probably had it up to your eyeballs with the round-the-clock coverage of Rush Limbaugh’s horrendous comparison of Georgetown student and contraception advocate Sandra Fluke to a prostitute (a.k.a. Rush’s Hilarious Joke). But last night, Jon Stewart explained why Limbaugh’s comments shouldn’t have come as a surprise.
