Why Ryan Gosling Should Not Star In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie

If a guy could be America’s Sweetheart, the title would go to Ryan Gosling, full-time actor, part-time superhero. The well-known celebrity, who has entertained me for nearly two decades, also happens to be dreamy, which is apparently enough in “American Psycho” writer Bret Easton Ellis’s eyes for the Canadian performer to take on the role of gorgeous-but-dangerous Christian Grey in a film adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
Ellis’s recent tweets about ideal casting possibilities exploded on the Internet this week, and while it’s unsurprising to see yet another person suggest Gosling for the part of Grey (because they’re both hot), it’s unsettling and not something I’d like to come through.
