Strip clubs in Tampa apparently wasted their time preparing for an RNC rush, as the political event didn’t draw much of a crowd to the adult entertainment venues.
Gentleman’s club Thee Dollhouse had the whole staff wear USA-themed Wonder Woman outfits and the 2001 Odyssey nude club placed the GOP elephant logo on the entrance door, but conservatives didn’t flood the joints this weekend as expected, and Hurricane Isaac seems partly to blame.

Houston Chronicle Wrong To Fire Part-Time Stripper

I don’t know how familiar you are with journalism, but it’s a well known fact that the profession doesn’t lend itself to large paychecks. It’s a worthwhile sacrifice for me because I do what I enjoy most all day every day, but salaries in this industry can be difficult to survive on. That’s why I don’t understand why Sarah Tressler, a 29-year-old society columnist for the Houston Chronicle, is receiving backlash and lost her job for holding a side job as a stripper.
In an article published earlier this week in the newspaper for which Tressler writes, colleague Richard Connelly outed his colleague as a reporter by day, “stripper by night.”
