In February, he dubbed singer Adele “fat” and is now suggesting Pippa Middleton only show her “back,” as her face does not meet his standards and she only has her behind going for her. Data analyst extraordinaire Karl Lagerfeld, who said at a press conference this week that Newsweek is a dying, “sh-tty little paper,” needs to get his facts straight, according to the publication. In response to the German designer’s comments about NewsBeast editor-in-chief Tina Brown being a has-been and the product being awful, Newsweek said in a statement to Fashionista that the magazine has actually increased in popularity since the former Vanity Fair editor hopped on board to steer the ship.

Former U.S. Representative Jane Harman is heading back to work and into the spotlight for the first time following Sidney Harman death. Ms. Harman will assume her late husband’s seat on the Newsweek Daily Beast company board at tonight’s Deadline Club annual awards dinner at the Waldorf Astoria.
