I don’t care what anyone (lookin’ at you, Pew Research Center) says: single moms are some of the strongest people on earth. Raising children is tough even with the help of a spouse, and looking after an entire household while also trying to make ends meet is no easy feat. That’s why I’m not all that worried about new divorcee Katie Holmes, whose upcoming film is about a single mother and her daughter. It’ll be interesting to watch given her current situation.
