Shocker: Supermodel Turns Down Full-Time Gig at JPMorgan

A job offer from a major financial firm would be a dream come true for any Wall Street intern. Well, unless you’re an intern and also a supermodel. In which case, the job offer would be more of a ‘meh’ kind of situation. Which, we would imagine, is probably how Miss Switzerland 2006 runner-up Xenia Tchoumitcheva responded after JPMorgan tried to hire her.

Meet JPMorgan’s Newest Summer Intern

Yep, she’s a model.
Her name is Xenia Tchoumitcheva, and according to reports she is signed with Elite Model Management and has done commercials for Audi, Burger King and Casino Lugano. Oh, right, and she was also the 1st runner up for Miss Switzerland in 2006.
It would be easy (i.e. a sign of jealousy) for one to assume she got this choice internship through some combination of her celebrity, connections and, umm, other attributes. Not that I would ever make assumptions like that. Of course, you (i.e. me) would be dead wrong if you were to, hypothetically speaking, make snap judgments about her qualifications for the internship. In fact, this entirely hypothetical person would probably feel like a complete ass after seeing her resume. Sigh.
