Must-See Movie Trailer: The Invisible War Exposes Horrifying U.S. Military Rape Epidemic

As I’m sure you’re well aware, statistics on military rape in the U.S. are shocking. One in 5 female veterans say they were the victim of sexual assault during their service. And many women vets say there’s little recourse when it comes to incidences of sexual violence among armed forces members.
But while the numbers alone are alarming, a new documentary aims to provide even greater context and understanding to this horrifying trend.
The Invisible War (coming to theaters in select cities June 22), investigates the coverups and negligence that plague the rape epidemic in the U.S. armed forces. Watch the trailer here:
