The Parks and Recreation Season Five Blooper Reel is Making Our Day
2:10 pm, September 6th | by Colette McIntyre
As we explained earlier, we generally like our days to dominated by one overarching, thematic emotion; just because we like a little continuity to our day, not because we are robots who don’t know how to process multiple human emotions at once without short-circuiting. (We are robots who don’t know how to process multiple human emotions at once without short-circuiting. Tell us your secrets. Beep boop boop bleep.) Yesterday, after reading Sarah Silverman’s touching obituary for her beloved dog Duck, we really had no choice but to be devastated for the rest of the day: dragging our feet from place to place, halfheartedly swatting away imaginary storm clouds, mumbling our responses in conversations until we ultimately gave up and just laid down on the floor like some poor little match girl succumbing to the hypothermia that chills her bones. But today is a new day! Today is a sunny Friday, one of the last sunny Fridays of summer! There is no time to turn into a human bog! Thankfully we have just across the blooper reel of Parks and Recreation Season 5. Oh, it’s good to laugh again….
I just want to live on this set. I want to live on this set and survive on nothing but maniacal giggles and the crumbs that fall underneath the craft services table and avuncular kisses on the head from Chris Pratt. Lord, hear my prayer.
