Today Show Tries To Make “Murse” And “Mewelry” Happen

“It’s just a briefcase!” cried Matt Lauer, and never have we agreed with anyone more.

In its latest “can we make this into a trend story” segment, Today devoted some time this morning to male grooming, an industry and trend that, it’s true, is growing. More men are purchasing grooming products and apparel than ever.

But must a bracelet for a man be called “mewelry” and must a simple briefcase or messenger bag be called a “murse”? Things really went too far when they brought a male Today show staffer to a tanning salon and deemed it “manning.”

As Matt Lauer protested: “It’s just a briefcase!” Thank you. Yes it is.

Now, being the proudly feminine lady that I am, I’m going to go play some fportz, drink some feer, and carry my friefcase to work (fork?).
