Totally Biased Comedian Aparna Nancherla’s New York Moment

Chioke Nassor’s Storytime has everything that we need in a web series: buzzworthy comedians (check) spinning hilarious yarns about their lives (check, check) and playing silly characters (check, check) while fanciful and colorful videography reminds us that we should’ve dated that kid who used to film his own Revolutionary War re-enactments for 8th grade history class, at least until we learned something about film, instead of pining after the Billy Joe Armstrong look-alike who is now in a Massachusetts county jail for publicly going to second base with a chicken (…check).
Since Storytime introduced us to the always flawless Sasheer Zamata, who in turn gave us the phrase “I turned down his dick as if he were trying to sell a CD or something,” we were excited to discover that Above Average, Lorne Michael’s YouTube comedy channel, is releasing a new crop of weird, but true stories all week.
